(1) In order to determine the priorities of the issues to be implemented in urban and rural areas regarding the adverse effects and risk reduction of climate change, the Government of Nepal can determine the necessary criteria and implement them.
(2) The government of Nepal can determine the necessary policy and technical standards to develop technology as needed in the designated subject areas for mitigating the adverse effects and risks of climate change.
